Your safari continues to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous), a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its vast wilderness, boat safaris, and predator sightings. After days of thrilling game drives, you will relax in Stone Town, Zanzibar, immersing yourself in rich Swahili culture, history, and spice tours. Finally, your adventure concludes at the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” where an incredible density of wildlife awaits. Day 1:
Ruaha National Park

Arrive in Dar es Salaam or Arusha and board a scheduled flight to Ruaha National Park. On arrival, enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge or camp. Spend the afternoon exploring the wild, rugged landscapes where elephants, buffalo, lions, and cheetahs roam freely. Dinner and overnight stay in Ruaha.

Day 2:
Ruaha National Park

After breakfast, embark on a full-day safari in Ruaha, one of Tanzania’s most untouched parks. Its dramatic scenery, baobab-studded hills, and winding rivers provide habitats for an extraordinary variety of species, including rare African wild dogs and huge prides of lions. Picnic lunch will be served in the bush before continuing your exploration. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3:
Lake Manyara National Park

This morning, transfer to Lake Manyara National Park. After check-in and lunch at your lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive. The park is celebrated for its tree-climbing lions, flocks of pink flamingos, hippos, giraffes, and elephants. As the sun sets behind the Rift Valley escarpment, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4:
Exploration of Lake Manyara

Spend the day exploring Lake Manyara’s diverse habitats, from the groundwater forests and open grasslands to the alkaline soda lake. Spot zebras, wildebeests, and more than 400 bird species. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch before resuming your game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 5:
Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Nyerere National Park, one of Africa’s largest and most pristine wilderness areas. Arrive in time for lunch and relax before heading out on an afternoon game drive. This park offers a unique safari experience with opportunities to spot elephants, lions, leopards, and large herds of buffalo. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 6:
Boat Safari and Game Drives

Start the day with a boat safari along the Rufiji River, where crocodiles, hippos, and waterbirds thrive. Afterward, enjoy a full-day game drive across the park’s vast landscapes, from open plains to miombo woodlands. Picnic lunch will be served in the wild. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7:
Zanzibar - Stone Town

After breakfast, catch a flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend the afternoon exploring narrow alleyways, spice markets, and historic sites such as the Old Fort and House of Wonders. Dinner and overnight stay in Stone Town.

Day 8:
Stone Town & Spice Tour

Dedicate the day to immersing yourself in Zanzibar’s cultural charm. Visit a spice plantation to discover the island’s heritage of cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Later, enjoy a walking tour of Stone Town, where Arab, Indian, and African influences blend. Dinner and overnight in Stone Town.

Day 9:
Ngorongoro Crater Exploration

In the morning, fly back to Arusha and proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Known for its dense population of wildlife, the crater is home to elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeests, and the endangered black rhino. Picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic spot before continuing the exploration. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge near the crater.

Day 10:
Departure

Savor a leisurely breakfast at your lodge as you take in the final moments of your Tanzanian adventure. After checking out, you will be transferred back to Arusha or directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey or flight home. As your 10-day Tanzania safari adventure comes to a close, you leave with unforgettable memories of breathtaking landscapes, incredible wildlife encounters, and the warm hospitality that makes Tanzania so special.
